This briefing has been produced by the National Advisory Group on Peer Volunteers and Learning in the Community.
The National Advisory Group on Peer Volunteering and Learning is co-ordinated by NIACE and was established with funding from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in 2013. It brings together policymakers from across government with national organisations responsible for the delivery of peer volunteering initiatives. The Group’s aim is to promote strategic and operational cross-sector collaboration between organisations with an interest in peer volunteering and learning in communities, in order to increase the impact of local activity.
