What is the experience of an adult educator? A presentation by Maria Pace, an Adult Educator at the Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Innovation within the Ministry for Education and Employment in Malta.

Having retired from a long career in teaching, Maria Pace still enjoys being in the classroom. Her belief is that first and foremost the people who join an adult education class are persons seeking to add something to their lives, and as such she strives to understand their needs and to help them make the most of this precious opportunity. As a teacher trained in writing project methodology she makes extensive use of writing as a tool for learning. Her latest wish is to introduce writing workshops in a retirement home.
