The main target group T4TEMP is addressing includes adult educators, youth workers, VET providers, teachers, career counsellors, etc. who dealing with NEETs, who wish to enhance their competences, qualifications and approaches in order to be able to be more competitive professionals and aim to provide the NEETs with better assistance and support them to become more employable or continue their education so as to attain their career goals. The report made in Intellectual Output 1 was developed after conducting desk and field research; primary and secondary research. During the desk research the partners collected good practices dealing with the training programs for NEETs and adult educators implement in six participating countries. Through the desk research several good practices were identified as well as their success factors and weaknesses. During the field research, adult educators had the chance to indicate the gap in the educational system which excludes NEETs. Moreover, they proposed training courses they would like to follow in order to improve themselves and skills. The field research shown that adults educators from Estonia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, England (UK) and Spanish have high level of professional training and they feel more confident after attending training courses. The majority of adult educators are dealing with young people with special education needs and disabilities and they face lack of motivation on behalf of students in their daily professional life when they are working with NEETs. The report shows that the most popular training methods with the highest proportion are “Group Work”, “Brainstorming and Discussion” and “Simulation Activities”. These are targeted in the materials developed in this output.
