Baseline Study “Informal caring and learning opportunities”
This report identifies the more pressing needs as well as well as the expectations in terms of learning opportunities for informal carers. It includes a wide range of references of relevant initiatives at local, regional, national and international level. The report confirms the relevance of the objectives and the methods proposed by the project, as defined in the application form (transversal and specific competences, blended training and micro-learning, mentoring by professionals, etc.) and points out the existing good practices and the challenges to be tackled. The report validates also the innovative approach, thanks to training programmed aimed at supporting informal carers, not only during the caring period, but also beyond, by proposing potential pathways to promote their professionalisation and their employability.
