Project VET3D result 3 “3 Dimensions Learning Model for VET“  was focusing on research of VET sector novelties and soft skills recognition in VET education areas in project countries - Czech Republic, Italy, Latvia and Greece. 

Three learning areas are: 

1. FORMAL LEARNING in provided as part of a formal education system which is structured and provided by trained teachers or instructors; 

2. NON – FORMAL LEARNING takes place outside the formal education system; 

3. WORK – BASED LEARNING provides students with work experiences embedded in real – life environment.

The EU recognizes three key competences in VET: digital, multilingual and literacy, 
as well as six main transversal skills: communication skills, customer handling skills, learning skills, planning and organization skills, problem solving skills and team-working skills. 

The independent variables of research model are formal, non-formal, work-based learning scales, dependent variable – VET training model.
