Considering the example of Norwegian prisons, an analysis is made regarding the motivation to participate in Lifelong Learning programmes. The second article talks about the Latin American application of policies, which are experienced as a difficult task due to various reasons, particularly when promoting education in prison.

This short report summarises the outcomes of the week long Mentor Training Programme for the SkillHUBS model for teaching and learning in the context of prison education. In general the outcomes are strongly positive with all 20 participants giving their support and endorsement to this innovative model   - the 'Engine'.
