Looking for Key Action 2 - Small-scale Partnerships in the field of Special education for Adults
We are working with adult students with intellectual disabilities and we belong to the municipal Adult Education in Borås. The whole school has about 6000 students and 200 employers. The Special Education for Adults has about 90 students, five teachers and one student assistant.
We are educated primary school teachers, preschool teachers or leisure time teachers. Some of us are educated special education teachers as well, which is required.
What do schools for our group of students look like in other parts of the EU? How does an equivalent school from another EU-country collaborates regarding school, housing and work?
How do adults with intellectual disabilities influence their life situation when it comes to school, housing and work? Do you cooperate with Adult Education providers?
Borås is located 45 minutes from the city of Gothenburg, which is the second largest city in Sweden, 20 minutes away from Landvetter Airport.
We look forward to hearing from you!
