We are open for partnership in ERASMUS+ KA204 projects
I am Viktorija Nikitina from Liepaja, Latvia. I am project coordinator from Liepaja University, Lifelong Learning Department.
Information about us:
- Liepaja University (https://www.liepu.lv/en) is accredited state higher educational establishment, which implements study programs at all three study levels: basic studies, Master and Doctorate studies.
- Every year about 30 study programs are implemented.
- Full-time and part-time studies.
- About 1300 students.
- LiepU has its own anthem, coat of arms, logo and a banner.
- More than 20 thousand graduates.
At the Liepaja University, Lifelong Learning in the form of formal and non-formal education is implemented by the Lifelong Learning Department (https://min.liepu.lv/en/). The Lifelong Learning policy of the Liepaja University is focused on the realization of personal interests and needs related to entrepreneurship, employment, active citizenship and social inclusion. In order to participate in the Lifelong Learning policy development process on a national and international scale, as well as to attract funding of various projects, the Lifelong Learning Department of Liepaja University is a member of the Latvian Adult Education Association and of The Latvian Association of Higher Education Institutions for Lifelong Learning (LAKMA).
The Lifelong Learning Department follows the latest updates in Lifelong Learning in Europe. LLD participates in international projects that allow to share its experience and learn new skills in adult education. The department has experience in projects related to migrants, language learning, different methods of working with adults.
Now I am coordinator of Erasmus+ project Transferring innovative adult educators’ practices” (TIP ADULT) Nr.2019-1-LV01-KA204-060346.
