My name is Paul and I am currently in charge of coordinating Erasmus+ projects in the French-German High School in Saarbrücken, Germany.

Our school is a bi-national school whose main aim is to bring pupils to bilinguism and biculturalism. Due to its international nature, our school also attracts a lot of children with various international backgrounds.

We are currently working on a KA2 project and we are about to complete a KA1 project.

For the next KA1 project we are applying for, two of my colleagues would like to go job-shadowing in a Scandinavian country (Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Finland) for a week.

One of them is a Spanish teacher. She is a Spanish national who has been living and teaching in Germany for many years.

The other colleagues is a teacher of economics. She is French and lives in Germany and has professional experience in the USA.

Their purpose to go job-shadowing in Scandinavia is to study the organisation of  a school system whose fame has crossed borders and exchange good practices regarding teaching methods.

They could also actively participate in some of the lessons and their roles should be in no way limited to passive observers.

We hope we will find a partner out there and we will be of course ready to reciprocate.

From past projects and our experience in international projects, we are convinced that such partnerships emphasize the international profile of schools and lead to new opportunities for staff members and pupils alike.
