Dante has considerable experience in international cooperation and partnerships, having participated in the European Social Fund, Erasmus+ (KA1, KA2, KA3 projects) and Europe for Citizens Programme. Dante is a proud holder of Erasmus+ accreditation 2021.-2027. in the fields of adult education, vocational education and training and school education.

We are looking for an organization that will take part in KA2 project "REACH OUT" as a project coordinator. We are on of the partners on the project, along with organizations from Spain, Greece and Italy.

We are providing you the PROJECT SUMMARY below. If you are interested, please contact us at e-mail address: info@dante-ri.hr . We would also like you to send us PIF of your organization.

PROJECT SUMMARY:

Adult education providers in all partner countries have a clear need for developing marketing competences of its staff in order to reach and retain their target groups as well as remain competitive members of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in general.  While necessary attention has been given to adult education development, adult education providers are failing to become more attractive. All across Europe, we have failed to note a rapidly increasing diversity of learners, continuing to deliver a one-size-fits-all approach and service. In order to improve the current state, we need to provide high-quality education opportunities and identify the main marketing and motivation approaches that will result in increased adult participation in learning.

The aim of the project is to address problems and difficulties and respond to the needs of adult education providers and adult learners.

The project aim is to contribute to:

- increasing adult participation in learning

- increasing marketing and motivation competences of adult education staff in order to increase participation and supporting persistence of adults in learning

- increasing the use of open online platforms for implementing blended learning and increasing the flexibility of training programmes, supporting self-directed learning and supporting the exchange of best practices and experiences among adult education staff.

The partners are proposing to develop the following intellectual outputs in order to accomplish the set project aims.

IO1 Marketing in Adult Education: A Handbook for Adult Education Staff

A handbook aimed at increasing marketing and motivation competences of staff in adult education. The handbook will contain effective strategies and tools for interacting with adult learners. The piloting of the handbook will use the blended learning approach and comprise 60 hours, with 20 hours of instruction being carried out face-to-face and 40 hours in an online environment. A minimum of 12 adult education staff members from each partner country will complete the training.

IO2 Marketing in Adult Education - Digital Platform and Tools

A digital platform featuring activities and tools in English and partner languages aimed at supporting adult education staff participating in the training programme. The activities and tools on the platform will also be available for self-directed learning for any adult education staff and teachers that are not directly included in the training programme but need to develop competences of reaching, motivating, and engaging adults in learning. The platform will also provide a space for adult education professionals across Europe to exchange ideas and practices, share their experiences, and ask for advice.

Achieving project aims will result in a better match between andragogy and learner/labour market needs, an increased possibility of AE staff to learn via digital tools, an increased motivation of adults to participate in learning as well as an extended competence level of AE staff and increased professionalisation in the AE sector.

The REACH OUT project plans to increase the target groups' quality of interaction with adult learners due to increased marketing, communication, and motivation competences, better cooperation and communication through ICT tools, and better knowledge about digital marketing tools. Thanks to the online platform, the target groups will also improve their access and use of online collections of digital training material and they will need less time to select marketing messages and instruments.

The piloting of the IO1 will be based on practical and interactive training approach and tools in order to ensure that the target group will have the opportunity to apply marketing tools and methods contextualized in their role. The desired result is to have more competent and professional AE staff that can progress beyond their traditional approach to and culture of education.

The project will also have positive results for the participating organisations since project partners will improve their in-person and digital training approaches, strengthen their cooperation with the relevant AE institutions in their regions and countries as well as relevant stakeholders in other countries, contributing to their internationalisation.
