Looking for a host organization in the field of garden design and landscape architecture
Adult Education Centre at Ogre Technical School are looking for a host organization in the field of garden design and landscape architecture.
The Adult Education Centre of Ogre Technical School implements diverse vocational, professional development and non-formal education programs for adults, enrolling approximately 1000 students per year.
Ogre Technical School has been granted Erasmus accreditation in the field of adult education, VET and school education, and we have also received approval for the implementation of the Erasmus+ project KA121 – “Person mobility for educational purposes” in adult education.
We are implementing a non-formal education program "Modern dynamic gardens". 8 program participants and 2 educators from Ogre Technical school would like to gain an international professional experience in the following topics:
- Natural planting, ornamental grasses (composition, colors, selection of plants).
- Perennials in modern plantings (composition, colors, selection of plants).
As part of the mobility, we would also like to visit some of the following gardens which we believe would provide a very rewarding learning experience:
- Máximapark.
- Piet Oudolf gardens.
- Noel Kingsbury gardens.
- The Gardens of Appeltern.
- Jelle Grintjes Tuinontwerpbureau.
- Park of Dutch Dreams (Park aan de Oude IJssel).
- Gardens Mien Ruys.
- Dutch Wave gardens.
- Vlinderhof.
- Lianne's Grasses.
- Mien Ruys Tuin
- Utrecht Botanic Gardens.
Mobility is planned to be implemented in July, 2025 (3 or 5 days + 2 travel days).
