K2 small-scale partnership project: training emotional support dogs for people with post-covid anxiety and PTSD
We (two project partners) are still looking for an organization to join our K2 small-scale partnership project. The aim of the project is to develop a programme for training emotional support dogs for people struggling with post-covid anxiety or PTSD. We are still welcoming either a project partner or an organization that would be interested in implementing the programme into its regular educational work.
There are already two partners in the project (Italy and Slovenia):
1.) Planet to the 3rd Power, a project management and consulting company from Slovenia. Experienced in many EU programmes, but new to Erasmus+ programme. We specialize in environmental and socially responsible projects in all areas (business development, regional development, sustainable tourism, etc.). Our key activities are:
- Project management (from the initial idea, to planning the process, implementation and final steps)
- Identifying the most suitable financing opportunities for your project idea
- Assistance with project applications (for various project calls and programmes)
- Marketing strategy (planning and implementation)
- Business model creation
- Social business model creation
- Corporate social responsibility
- Creating the most appropriate partnership with stakeholders
- Storytelling and copywriting
- Communication and dissemination of project results and impacts
- Promotional activities
- Event management
- Photo and video production

2.) Association Pacha Mama is an Italian non-profit organization that promotes training of assistance dogs for people with physical disabilities, autism and post traumatic stress disorder & the importance of Assisted Interventions with Animals (IAA, commonly called pet therapy) in the socio-welfare and socio-health fields, giving life to co-therapeutic, educational and playful projects and activities in order to improve the conditions and quality of life of healthy people or people with disabilities, or psychophysical disorders making use of natural sweetness and empathy dogs. We operate in various Italian regions and in particular in Sicily in collaboration with the USSM and the Juvenile Justice Center.
