The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) carries out intervention and aid activities for disasters and emergencies of all kinds and sizes, both domestically and internationally. In this context, the concept of humanitarian aid is at the center of all activities carried out within the discipline of disaster management, from search and rescue to risk reduction, from recovery activities to preparation activities. With this perspective, we want to implement the Humanitarian Aid Training Module within the scope of ERASMUS+.

With this project, we aim to develop a practical training program for institutions and organizations, NGOs and volunteers operating in the field of humanitarian aid and disaster management. Our main goal is to increase technical knowledge and skills in disaster management and to create an innovative and effective training model that complies with international humanitarian aid standards. Within the scope of our project, we are looking for partners across Europe to develop mutual humanitarian aid practices and training through mutual experience.
