What do we offer?

Amica offers to host a teacher/educator  in training from an EU country (except Spain) who wishes to carry out a period of practical training in Asociación Amica.

Requirements:

• Participants who are enrolled or have recently graduated from a teacher training programme (or an educational programme for trainers or educators of a similar nature) in another EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme.

Objectives

• Promote the approach to an innovative model of support to the person in the environment, through the Independent Living Program.
• Increase the professional competences (knowledge, skills or attitudes) of teachers in training on the implementation of training programs aimed at adults with disabilities to boost their community life and advance their independence.

Length of stay

15 days during the month of June 2023.

Place: Asociación Amica (Torrelavega, Cantabria, Spain)

Conditions

The person who makes the stay must take care of the travel, subsistence and accommodation expenses.

Amica has the possibility to offer accommodation in shared housing.

The participant (prior to the development of the action) must:

• agree a learning plan with the host entity to develop during the duration of the stay.
• Sign an agreement with the host organization (Amica).

Knowledge of Spanish language will be valued
