Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Timis (CCIAT) is actively involved in carrying out actions aimed at ensuring, at the regional level, a solid business environment, collaborating with the institutions and authorities of the public administration, county and local, as well as with the regional structure, for the purpose of the economic - social development of the area, including through public - private partnerships.
As a business support organization, CCIA Timis is actively involved in carrying out actions aimed at ensuring, a solid business environment, facilitating economic growth, and enhancing business infrastructure, supporting companies in scaling and expanding their operations. For TCCIA the mission is to represent the interests of its members and the business environment while providing essential services for competitive and sustainable development, by carrying out and supporting research and development activities, in the interest of the business community, promoting key sectors of the regional economy (agriculture and food industry, energy, construction, IT&C, manufacturing industry) and facilitating business internationalization through events organized such as fairs, exhibitions, economic missions, business forums, B2B meetings, in the country and abroad.
CCIAT also plays a key role in supporting continuous professional training, through its dedicated Training and Professional Development Department. The department designs, develops, and delivers accredited training programs aligned with regional labor market needs, ensuring that employees and companies can continuously upgrade their skills in a rapidly evolving economic environment. Its portfolio includes courses in management, entrepreneurship, digital skills, health and safety, quality management, and sector-specific qualifications.
Through partnerships with public institutions, private organizations, and certified trainers, the department ensures high-quality training services, supports workforce upskilling, and contributes to increasing organizational competitiveness. By promoting lifelong learning, CCIAT strengthens the adaptability of local businesses and supports sustainable regional development.Over the past 18 years, CCIAT has implemented more than 80 funded projects, including EU-funded PHARE, the Danube Transnational Programme, Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes with Serbia and Hungary, Horizon 2020, EASME (Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises), the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), Erasmus+, EIT Climate-KIC, the Human Capital Operational Programme, as well as projects supported through national funding.
