Skill Chamber
Skill Chamber designs customised apps for language schools, vocational trainers and education providers whose students need real-world communication practice to master the skills they learn in class.
Our conversational-AI role-play tools allow learners to practise realistic conversations in areas such as language learning, professional communication, interviews, customer service, negotiation, sales and presentations. Students can repeat exercises at their own pace, receive feedback, and build confidence before using these skills in real situations.
For teachers and trainers, Skill Chamber provides a way to extend practice beyond the classroom. Educators can design role-play exercises linked to their lessons, assign practice tasks, monitor learner progress, and identify areas where students need further support. The aim is not to replace teachers with AI systems, but to give them tools that build confidence and comprehension while maintaining oversight of the learning process.
We have built the foundational architecture that allows us to focus AI interactions securely around specific course content and learning objectives, helping reduce hallucinations and keep practice relevant. The platform can also adapt the tone and style of AI responses to reflect a training partner’s teaching approach, while allowing students to personalise conversations around subjects that matter to them as they work to integrate course material.
We are interested in Erasmus+ cooperation with partners working in language education, vocational training, adult learning, employability, digital education and communication skills development. Skill Chamber provides the practice layer that helps learners assimilate course content and turn it into real-world ability. This allows training providers to amplify their impact, improve learning outcomes and scale course delivery without losing the practical element that makes training effective.
Our small and highly committed team is ready to act as a technology partner or project coordinator, contributing to the delivery of high-value training in the following areas:
- Language learning, where fluency and confidence are key outcomes
- Professional upskilling and employability, including soft skills development
- Communication as a pathway to inclusion, supporting participation and integration
- Digital skills, critical thinking and AI literacy, by creating a safe, monitored environment to learn to work with intelligent systems.
We have also identified other areas where we believe our technology could add value and allow training providers to design courses around:
- Teacher training, particularly in areas such as neurodiversity awareness
- Climate change communication, helping learners engage in meaningful dialogue
- Civic participation, including communication skills for involvement in local and community decision-making.
