Regional development agency "South" (RDA South) is a part of Regional development agencies network of Republic of Serbia. The AoR of RDA South covers the territory of three administrative districts in south Serbia: Nisava, Toplica and Pirot and the City of Nis. About 600.000 inhabitants live in this region which extends to the borders with Bulgaria and administrative border line with Kosovo. Following the Law on regional development, RDA South has become an important intermediary structure for the implementation of socio-economic and infrastructure projects going beyond boundaries of individual local municipalities and a significant player in supporting SMEs in the region. RDA South has established itself as an organization which is a key player in development of strategic documents and support mechanism in preparation and implementation of major regional infrastructure projects as well as focal point for all government funded programs targeting enterpreneurship and SME development in the region (trainings, mentoring, grant schemes).
