Mission

OPEN UP is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering innovation in education and research, empowering European citizens to thrive in an ever-changing world. We believe that innovation is essential for a better future for all Europeans, and we work to create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in the innovation process.

Core Function

At the heart of OPEN UP's mission lies the establishment of an interactive communication channel between experts and educators across all levels of education, from primary and secondary to higher education and adult education. This channel catalyzes innovation, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among diverse perspectives.

Open Up is facilitating online courses through distance learning tailored for teachers in Primary and Secondary Education, focusing on innovative teaching methods and digital tools. These courses are offered free of charge, aligning with our commitment to social contribution. During the school year 2023-2024, more than 2400 teachers and 180 schools of Primary and Secondary Education from Greece actively participated in our in-service training courses, furthering our mission to support educational development.
