La Tartaruga Onlus
La Tartaruga Association is a non-profit organization established in 2011 with the desire to give children and adults, particularly those with severe disabilities, the opportunity to interact and play in a protected environment where they can stimulate and develop their sensory residue, in a condition of maximum psychophysical well-being.
Since its establishment, the Association has wanted to characterize itself as a unique place of well-being and recreation, where rehabilitation is a consequent and natural factor of being well.
The peculiarity of La Tartaruga is the multi-sensory pool that provides truly enjoyable moments through activities supervised by professionals
It is through well-being and fun that we are able to improve the relationship and enhance the sensory residue of each of our patients, adult or child.
La Tartaruga’s activities have gone beyond the Association's premises, involving the territory and realizing, in synergy with local public bodies (municipalities, schools, ASL) and private subjects, initiatives, and projects aimed at disseminating good practices and improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and their families.
The purpose of the association is social and socio-medical assistance for people suffering from various diseases resulting in motor difficulties and/or sensory and cognitive disabilities, with a special focus on children with severe disabling diseases.
