Inviro AS

Inviro Founded in 2020, Inviro AS is a dynamic business cluster leader, innovation hub, and study center located in Nordfjord, Norway. Owned by approximately 85 private and public members from all five municipalities in Nordfjord, Inviro’s mission is to enhance regional development through collaborative networks, tailored training, and sustainable growth opportunities. Key activities include hosting events like the Nordfjord Summit and Nordfjord Conference, managing local training programs, and offering project leadership and advisory services to businesses across sectors. Inviro’s courses are primarily led by local instructors and designed to meet specific regional needs, creating local connections while reducing costs and environmental impact.
StudieHub As the first study center in Vestland, established in 2022, StudieHub offers flexible and decentralized higher education and vocational training options to Nordfjord’s communities. Led by Kari Eldby Rygg, StudieHub works to fulfill the national vision of lifelong learning close to where people live and work. Key functions include identifying regional skill needs, facilitating locally relevant programs in partnership with educational institutions, and establishing community-based study zones. With six student lounges open 24/7, StudieHub creates a supportive learning environment for adults balancing work and study. With steady funding, StudieHub can become a vital extension of Norway’s higher education sector, ensuring that regional businesses and public sectors have access to a locally trained, skilled workforce.
Other Areas of Activities and Interests
Beyond our core focus on education and regional development, Inviro and StudieHub are actively involved in fostering a sustainable, interconnected community in Nordfjord. We support business innovation and growth through tailored advisory services, network-building, and professional development programs. Inviro’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in our efforts to host local events that minimize environmental impact, and by helping businesses access green technologies and resources.
We also prioritize creating inclusive learning and development opportunities. By facilitating training in topics ranging from leadership to digital skills and health services, we aim to meet diverse local needs.
