Fundació Privada Gentis

Gentis Foundation, funded in 2000, is a non-profit organization based in Catalonia, Spain. It has 103 workers. It focuses on achieving social inclusion of the most disadvantaged groups by promoting their competences, emotional and social development.  Its main areas of expertise are community action, training, labour insertion, mentoring, mediation, family support and psychological and therapeutic intervention.  

Gentis also manages a Second Chance School called “Lo Pont”,  that focusses on designing and providing formal and non-formal trainings aimed at the return to the formal education system or facilitating access to employment of young adults, including migrants aged between 16 and 24 years old that have experienced school dropout.
