EOI Arrecife

We have been granted a K122-ADU funded project called "Come back to School. It's never too late to learn". In our project we have opted for two types of mobilities. One that guarantees funded 5-day stays abroad for two educators who would visit schools for adult education to observe fellow professionals directly and their teaching methodologies in action. Our teachers will focus on the practices which relate directly with the inclusion of foreign students, digitalization and the fostering of European values in the classroom, and translate these observations to their own teaching practices and context. This form of cooperation, known as job shadowing, aims at the attainment of our project goals as well as the improvement of our teachers' skills and the organization methods of our school management team by sharing the positive experiences of this visit with the entire educational community of our school.
The second form of funded stay that we have been granted is meant for adult students who, in a group of a maximum of 5 members, would attend Arabic, English, French or German classes for as long as 15 days. These students would become participants of the educational system in which they are immersed, and learn from a student's perspective how European values are promoted and how digitalization is implemented.
These are the objectives of our funded project:
- Motivate students to continue their studies in our School and improve their linguistic competence in the languages we teach (German, Arabic, Spanish, French and English).
- Awareness of European citizenship and the possibilities it entails. Perception of our school as a link to Europe.
- Promote digitalization as a methodological way to foster inclusion, participation and good resource management.
We would be more than glad to have teachers and students from other European schools as Erasmus+ participants.
