The In-training Teacher Center Don Benito-Villanueva is situated in the province of Badajoz (Spain),

We are an institution belonging to the regional government (Autonomous Community of Extremadura, in the South West part of the country, next to Portugal).

Our mission is to organize courses, seminars and other training activities for teachers of all levels prior to University. Those activities cover a large range of topics: pedagogical new approaches, digital competence update, foreign languages (including immersions abroad), among others.

At present, as an Accredited Organization, we´re holding a Consortium Erasmus (K-120), with three adult education schools in our area. Our project deals with the use of digital resources to enhance education by making it more accessible. It includes also other objectives, such as to facilitate the inclusion of the adult students (especially migrants) in the labour market and to promote foreign languages.

We are willing to contact with other institutions dealing with adult education to exchange experiences through job shadowings within the Erasmus project.

Besides, we are willing to invite anyone from other adult schools to see our practice in training teachers for a better performance in their practice, complemented with visits to the adult centers we work with.
