Asociatia Nuclee is a Non-governmental organisation from Caracal, Romania, founded in 2023. The association focuses on developing youth and young adults, engaging them in various activities to foster their participation, personal growth, and skills development and encouraging them to self-discovery and creativity.

The organisation aims to work towards reversing the depopulation trend, creating an inclusive and dynamic ecosystem, a more vibrant and prosperous future for the region by developing programs, activities and connecting young people with various stakeholders, including local and regional institutions, NGOs, businesses, and educational institutions. 

Our main goal is to empower young individuals to be proactive, creative and foster the skills and resources they need to shape their future while positively contributing to the society and local economy.

The activities that the organisation is developing are based on the following significant pillars of sustainable development that will contribute to the holistic development of the region:

1. Research and innovation: We firmly embrace knowledge as the cornerstone of progress, a dynamic approach that shapes every aspect of our work.Innovation flourishes at the intersection of different fields, and by converging and reinforcing each other we aim to develop innovative solutions for: climate action, economic development and entrepreneurship, and digital transformation. 

2. Participation: It is crucial to involve young people in the decision and policy-making process to create a society that is more inclusive and democratic.We aim to foster a sense of civic duty and empower young individuals to have a positive impact, to encourage their participation in democracy while providing the necessary resources and support to engage in decision and policy-making activities.

3. Culture and art: Through culture and art, we envision a more harmonious and inclusive society where the creative spirit of our youth knows no bounds. 

We offer workshops, training sessions, and other activities that combine interactive learning methods, practical exercises, and hands-on application opportunities in different contexts, after school, youth exchanges, trainings etc.

Our goal is to tailor the content to the needs and goals of youth, young adults, and youth workers to have a positive impact on the community. 

We organize seminars on various skills such as leadership, communication, digital literacy, and financial management, which empower young people to succeed in their personal and professional lives. We also provide spaces for artistic expression and creativity, encourage community service projects, organize outdoor adventures and nature retreats for personal growth and connection with the environment, and connect youth with mentors and networking opportunities.
