Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU), established with the goal of producing well-equipped individuals capable of contributing to science and technology through research activities that address the contemporary needs of our era, has evolved significantly since its inception in 2010.
AYBU currently stands as the 97th university in Turkey and the 5th state university in Ankara, boasting 7 faculties, 1 vocational school, 4 graduate schools, and 1 conservatory. From 2023 onwards, the university expanded its offerings to include education in 15 faculties, 1 school, 1 state conservatory, 3 vocational schools, 5 graduate schools, and 24 application and research centers.
The university's primary objectives are to serve both the country and humanity, shape the future of science and humanity by addressing current issues, and lead society towards progress.
Continuing its commitment to excellence, AYBU maintains bachelor's education programs in various fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Political Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering and Natural Sciences, Architecture, Health Sciences, and Islamic Sciences. Additionally, associate degree programs are offered at Vocational School, Vocational School of Health Services, and Şereflikoçhisar Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School.
In addition to bachelor's education, AYBU provides master's programs, non-thesis master’s programs, and doctoral programs across all faculties. As a research-oriented university, AYBU has made significant strides with 23.50% of graduate programs and numerous national and international projects.
AYBU has established itself as an international university with nearly 11% international bachelor students (representing several thousands of students from 109 countries), bilateral agreements with 203 international universities, and various student, academic, and administrative staff mobility programs. The university takes pride in its international recognition and consistently ranks among the top universities in Türkiye.
