Adult Education Institution FINIS
Adult Education Institution FINIS was founded in 2014 in Zadar, Croatia. FINIS is a provider of adult education and VET education programs in sectors of Traffic and logistics, Economics, trade and business administration, Electrical engineering and computing, Construction and geodesy, Personal, protection and other services, Agriculture, nutrition and veterinary medicine, Mechanical engineering, shipbuilding and metallurgy, Forestry, wood processing and processing, Tourism, and catering. The institution is also a foreign language learning center for English, German, and Italian language from levels A1 to C2. The institution currently implements over 30 formal adult education programs verified by the Ministry of Science and Education. Through constant monitoring of the labor market, FINIS designs new education programs to improve the competitiveness of the learners in the business world and also to strengthen their basic skills.
FINIS is also active in the field of development and implementation of micro-qualification programs and offers micro-credentials in the field of EU project design and implementation, internet marketing and branding, and others. The institution was selected and included in the Catalogue of micro-qualification education centers by the Croatian Employment Center.
Besides formal education programs, the institution also implements a great number of non-formal education activities such as workshops and seminars and since its founding, it has been involved in the Lifelong Learning Week project as a regional coordinator for Zadar County and Šibenik-Knin County. During the Lifelong Learning Week, the message about the importance of education and learning is conveyed to citizens in an immediate, often informal way. Some of the most relevant non-formal education programs include Teamwork skills development and Business etiquette and communication.
