As BC shifts away from in-person instruction in light of COVID-19 concerns, many instructors are understandably overwhelmed by the expectation that they continue teaching their courses remotely. 

The following resources are meant to provide you a starting point for planning your transition to remote instruction. Those who are offering Open and Distance Learning should follow these principles.   Teaching and learning remotely during a global pandemic is a challenging task for everyone.

Βέροιας από τη Γερμανία μετά από 16ήμερη παραμονή (15 – 30 Οκτωβρίου 2019) στο Άαχεν στα πλαίσια του εγκεκριμένου Ευρωπαϊκού Προγράμματος Διά Βίου Μάθησης «μαθησιακής κινητικότητας εκπαιδευόμενων και προσωπικού επαγγελματικής εκπαίδευσης και κατάρτισης» Erasmus + KA1 .

It highlights the need for a geographical conceptualization of the different ways in which household-level energy deprivation both influences and is contingent upon disparities occurring at a wider range of spatial scales.

Eco-friendly technologies involved making use of alternative energy source which is abundant to generate renewable energy, reducing the amount of resource which is limited used through the conventional like fossil fuel. For example renewable resources like sunlight, sea water and co2 which are abundant generating alternative resource like biofuel, solar energy, freshwater and air purification through greenhouse, vegetation and halophytes cultivation stabilize the degraded desert soil and as wind breaks reduce the impact of pollutants on the environment.

EN: The project partners have compiled descriptions, technical data and links to some 90 educational games and platforms, which are currently available in 51 languages, number steadily increasing. The common feature is, that all of them deal with either brain training activities, digital or geographical skills improvement, language learning, promotion of (inter)cultural understanding and/or awareness-raising on flight and migration issues. Together they represent a meaningful selection of good examples and their descriptions are available in English on the e-Civeles database.

"The COVID-19 epidemic has caused serious threats to people’s physical health and lives. It has also triggered a wide variety of psychological problems, such as panic disorder, anxiety and depression. The main purpose of this study is to measure the prevalence and severity of this psychological distress, gauge the current mental health burden on society, and therefore provide a concrete basis for tailoring and implementing relevant mental health intervention policies to cope with this challenge efficiently and effectively.
