Dear EPALE colleagues,
National changes in policy
Governments and organisations across Europe have been working to benefit adult education over the past few weeks:
- In the Czech Republic, the National Institute for Education has launched a tool helping educators learn basic marketing principles (CS).
- In Estonia, a new adult education act seeks to make it easier for training institutions to provide adult learning (ET).
- The German Ministry for Education has teamed with ESF to launch a new dual education programme, along with regional training structures in order to improve the school to work transition (DE).
Don’t miss – blog posts
Literacy has been on everybody’s mind recently, as experts across Europe came together in Austria for the European Conference on Literacy. Aaron Rajania looked at how we can measure literacy (EN) in his post, while Dr Frank Huysmans looks at the role public libraries play in community development (EN). Ian Atkinson looked at digital skills in his blog, and asked how can gamification encourage literacy (EN)?
