Teachers are generally aware that game-based learning has a positive impact on their students. Only some of them know exactly how to implement gamified activities and other game-based learning content in their practice. The project GATE:VET aims to support teachers (with a special focus on vocational teachers) in expanding their methodological repertoire by enriching lessons with educational games. To this end, we have created an online platform (in the form of a wiki and a mobile app) and a training curriculum that cover the theory and practice of game-based learning and enable peer-to-peer exchange. We are keen to expand our community of teachers who can share experiences and learn from each other.
