GE.CO: green‑digital‑inclusion guidelines connecting generations, boosting digital confidence, and empowering sustainable, inclusive communities.

The GE.CO Guidelines present a replicable model for digital and intergenerational learning pathways involving adults aged 50+/55+ and young people aged 18–30. The document integrates digital skills, inclusion and sustainability into a single framework, offering practical tools to reduce the digital confidence gap, promote equal opportunities and encourage green behaviours in everyday life.

Designed for adult learning centres, libraries, municipalities, NGOs and organisations working with adults with fewer opportunities, the model is based on micro‑steps, reciprocal intergenerational learning, privacy‑by‑design and a low‑waste approach. The guide proposes three pathways (1, 4 or 8–10 sessions), a 90–120 minute session format and thematic modules on smartphone use, safe communication, digital services, ethical storytelling, online safety and digital wellbeing.

The document also outlines a 7‑step model to design, deliver and evaluate learning activities, with clear guidance on evidence collection, dissemination and integration into regular programming. GE.CO promotes accessible, sustainable and community‑centred learning, valuing intergenerational collaboration as a driver for inclusion and civic activation.
