What can you learn from learning cities? (panel discussion)
We would like to draw your attention to an interesting upcoming event - the European Week of Regions and Cities, which takes place every autumn in Brussels.
This year, we are also participating in the European Week as we are implementing with our partners the international LEAP II project aimed at local authorities, which we offer the opportunity to address sustainability issues by strengthening local lifelong learning policies.
For a city or community to become smart, creative and sustainable, it must first learn. We invite interested parties to a moderated discussion on how to empower local authorities to address sustainability issues, how to embrace the concept of learning cities in smaller communities, and thereby foster new opportunities for adult learning in environmental awareness at the community level.
If you are interested, please save the topic and date of the panel discussion "What can you learn from Learning Cities?" to be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Charles M. Wiser, 19, Brussels, in the conference room of one of the project partners - IHF (Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires).
Here is the registration link for the discussion.
