Walter Dickie Leadership Bursary now open for applications
Every year, the WCVA provides a leader from the voluntary sector with a £2,500 bursary that enables them to develop their entrepreneurial leadership skills. The award is very inclusive and doesn’t require applicants to fit within a specified criteria – they will choose the winner based on the proposal that they find most exciting and inspiring. The successful applicant will share their experience with the WCVA, their own organisation and the wider sector.
The bursary provides the successful applicant with a unique and rewarding experience and previous funding rounds have seen winners go to other countries to learn how to plan a cycle-friendly city and learn about creating community gardening networks.
The application deadline is 18 October 2019 and the winner will be announced at the WCVA Annual General Meeting and Lecture in November. For more information and to submit applications, please visit the WCVA website.
Applicants are advised to contact the Social Investment Cymru team for an informal conversation before submitting their applications.
