VOLPRIS: Volunteering in Prisons in 2020


"How did volunteering shape prison life in 2020?" is the theme of the European event that will be held on December 11th under the Volpris initiative - Prisons Managing Volunteers in EU.

VOLPRIS project - „Prisons managing Volunteers in EU” aims to invest on the qualification of volunteering management in prison to have a positive Impact upon volunteers' daily work effectiveness, and therefore on reoffending rates. The project consortium is composed of eight organisations from five different EU countries:

- APROXIMAR, COOPERATIVA DE SOLIDARIEDADE SOCIAL, CRL and DIREÇÃO-GERAL DE REINSERÇÃO E SERVIÇOS PRISIONAIS from Portugal
- Centrum Wolontariatu w Lublinie from Poland
- CENTRUL PENTRU PROMOVAREA INVATARII PERMANENTE TIMISOARA ASOCIATIA and PENITENCIARUL BUCURESTI-JILAVA from Romania
- Centre for European Volunteering (CEV) from Belgium
