VET lectors are going to discuss the specifications of the low-skills education

To whom it may concern:

There is an on-line workshop “Risks and Difficulties of Low-Skills Vocational Education and Trainings” on May, 30th, 2022.

This activity is co-funded by the European Union reg. No. 2021-1-CZ01-KA210-VET-000034599 named “VET lector's competencies improvement in accordance with low-skills”. The project takes place in the Czech Republic, arranged by the applicant education agency LASERneedle CZ s.r.o., as well as in the Slovak Republic, arranged by the project partner education agency Topcoach s.r.o.

Main objective of the project is VET lector's competencies enhancement and increasing of their qualification for the vocational training of low-skilled operating staff. We manage it by the pedagogical-psychological training of VET lecturers in order to improve their andragogic skills. We achieve this objective through methodologic guide book publication. It supports the inclusion of low-skills into vocational entrepreneurship education and raises their life-long learning motivation.

One of the project activities is the on-line workshop “Risks and Difficulties of Low-Skills Vocational Education and Trainings” on May, 30th, 2022. The main objective of the workshop is to share VET lector's experiences and skills with low-skilled participants of entrepreneurship education and training. Workshop is concerned on the specifics of the courses of the electrotechnics, technical documentation, plastics, first-aid and other vocational courses for operators and foremen.

There are 12 VET lecturers from Czech and Slovak Republic present at the on-line workshop.  They present the difficulties of their work with low-skills during vocational courses and share their experiences on how to improve the vocational courses to be more attractive for operators and other low-skills.

Finally, we would like to let you know that we inform you about all the activities of our project. Moreover, we prepare an on-line conference, a scientific contribution and the „Methodology Guide Book” publication, which are free for you on the EPALE platform. We believe that our project takes your interest and that we achieve our main objective to support the inclusion of low-skills into vocational entrepreneurship education and raise their life-long learning motivation.
