Technology training for employees in the Norwegian health care sector

The Norwegian Government has funded 7,5 million Norwegian Krones for training for employees in the healthcare sector. Changes and technology development happen very fast in this sector. More and more patients are been supported from the health care service at home, by use of various tools, such as safety alarms, electronic journals, automatic medical injection pumps and GPS. This demands an upskilling of the workforce in the health care sector.
The training is a part of a sector programme which is directed towards the health care, manufacturing and construction sectors. The programme is initiated by the Norwegian Government, in the ongoing Norwegian skills strategy.
