ASTRA is a partner in the project "Sustainable Energy Centres of Vocational Excellence-SECOVE" (Project No. 101056201), which is one of the 13 projects selected in 2022 for funding under the ERASMUS+: Partnerships for Excellence programme. The SECOVE project started in July 2022 and is planned to run for 4 years. The project has received funding of € 3 750 688. A total of 22 partners from 5 countries (Greece, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Italy) are implementing the project. In Slovakia, in addition to ASTRA, the Technical University of Košice, IZOLA, the Secondary Industrial School of Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Košice and the Slovak Chamber of Civil Engineers are involved in the project.

The aim of the SECOVE project is to create a platform of Centres of Excellence in 5 different European countries to foster a European culture of innovation, inclusiveness and excellence in the sustainable and renewable energy sector. The platform will be based on a transnational dialogue between local VET centres, business organisations, public actors and other relevant stakeholders to ensure maximum involvement of VET and industry.
