STEAME COURSE

Cyprus
Tuesday, April 20, 2021 - 09:00 CEST to Friday, April 23, 2021 - 09:00 CEST

The course utilizing the ENGINO ROBOTICS & STEAME focuses on the latest trends in Pedagogy where the critical subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Entrepreneurship are approached interdisciplinary with hand’s-on experiences. The patented ENGINO building system was developed by Engineers and Educators as a tool for creative building of technical models. The system includes besides structural components also gears, pulleys, solar panels, motors and robotic controllers. The course will help teachers understand better the concepts of STEAME and how robotics programming can be implemented in the classroom. Each session will involve the building of a model, the experimentation to understand the technology behind it and a presentation of the supporting theory. Most models will also be connected to the ENGINO ERP PRO controller and teachers will learn to program manually, with Simulator, with drag and drop icons and even with text language! Each day a different final challenge will be tackled by the participants from line following robots to automated houses and to chain reaction machines! The participants will receive a book with all the material presented and also a CD with interactive animations and worksheets to use with their students.
