Skills Assessment Consultation Meeting
The Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability will be holding a consultation session on Skills Assessment on Wednesday 20 February.
The session is part of the EU Agenda for Adult Learning work programme. The Directorate is responsible for the implementation of the EU Agenda in Malta and the work programme aims to improve coordination of adult learning policy and provision.
As highlighted in the Malta Lifelong Learning Strategy and the Recommendation on Upskilling Pathways, effective provision requires a learner centred approach. The discussion will focus on the purpose of skills assessment and effective methods to identify the skills already acquired by individuals and addressing skills gaps.
