TIP ADULT LTTA

From 27 to 29 April 2021, within the Erasmus+ project Transferring innovative adult educators’ practices” (TIP ADULT) Nr.2019-1-LV01-KA204-060346 took place second learning/teaching/training activity (LTTA). Because of the COVID-19 restriction, the LTTA was virtual.  The theme of the activity was "Best practice exchange on the professional development of adult educators". The training was attended by representatives of 7 countries (United Kingdom, Austria, Slovakia, Turkey, Switzerland, Spain and Latvia) and was organized by Daniele Trevisan – Director of Kairos Europe Ltd, located in London.

The objective of LTTA was to learn from the best experience of using arts, ICT and improve professional skills in work with disadvantaged categories.

During the first two days the participants, together with the lecturer Lara Palmiani - trainer and artistic director at Legal Aliens Theatre in London, got acquainted with one of the art directions - drama - as a method of teaching in adult education, for example, in learning a foreign language. Participants danced, learned to breathe properly, as well as a variety of interactive games, for example storytelling in different ways, with adults that can be used both face-to-face and online. Here you can see example of one of the interactive ways of learning foreign language - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIHnGvbiWU8.

During the third day of learning/teaching/training activity of TIP ADULT participants was learning about using photography and video making in the education of adults. The director of Kairos Europe Ltd Daniele Trevisan presented topics as why it is necessary to use photography or video-making, benefits of visualization. The most interesting moment of presentation for participant was information about making good quality photography, as well as designing and editing videos.

And the result of the second TIP ADULT LTTA "Best practice exchange on the professional development of adult educators" is digital micro-knowledge chunks on using arts, ICT on the webpage for adult educators; a methodology to work with disadvantaged groups.
