Centre for Vocational Education (EPALE National Service Support for Montenegro) has completed the first meeting with representatives of licensed organizers of adult education in order to present EPALE project in Montenegro and to promote EPALE community. The meeting was held on 18 March 2016 in the Centre for Vocational education conference room, Rimski trg bb. The meeting was attended by 27 representatives of licenced adult education organisers and members of the project team, Duško Rajković, Gordana Bošković i Irena Janković.
In his introductory speech, Mr Duško Rajković, EPALE project manager in Montenegro, explained the role of the Centre for Vocational Education in the implementation of project activities, the duration of the project activities and he invited representatives of providers of licensed adult education to be part of EPALE community.
Adviser for adult education, who is also the contact person for EPALE in Montenegro and coach in the project, Ms. Gordana Bošković informed the participants about project objectives, planned activities, the benefits for participants in the EPALE community and she underlined the expectations of licensed organizers of adult education in Montenegro. Also, electronic platform was presented and its features such as how to register, NSS pages, partner search options etc.
After the presentation, an open discussion about EPALE community and the active involvment of licenced organizers of adult education was oppened, with the aim of proffesional development of teachers running classes for adults, promotion of the national system of adult education at European level and the exchange of experiences as well as examples of good practice.
At the end of the meeting, participants were informed that the next meeting with a licensed adult education organizers will be held in October in accordance with the project plan, in order to exchange information about using of EPALE benefits which were identified by users.
The meeting was rated as very important and useful, and the project as an important factor to improve adult education in Montenegro.
