The project “EDI-FORJUV – Digital Empowerment for Inclusion
The Pro Democrația Club Buzău Association announces the official launch of the project “EDI-FORJUV – Digital Empowerment for Inclusion: Strengthening Skills and Capacities in Vulnerable Youth”, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 – Cooperation Partnerships in the field of youth (KA220-YOU). The project, coordinated by the Association for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Information and Communication Technologies (INNETICA) – Spain, will run for a period of 24 months (September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2026) and involves a consortium formed by five partner organizations from Romania, Spain, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.
Objectives and scope“EDI-FORJUV” aims to contribute to the social inclusion of vulnerable young people by developing the digital skills necessary for their integration into the labor market and the digital society. The project addresses strategic priorities of the European Union, such as inclusion and diversity, increasing quality and innovation in youth work and digital transformation through the development of digital skills.

:✅ Training of 25 youth workers (5 from each partner country) to become digital mentors capable of supporting the integration of vulnerable young people through the use of new technologies
.✅ Development of digital skills for 100 vulnerable young people from partner countries, facilitating their access to educational and professional opportunities.
✅ Creation of an innovative digital curriculum and training manual for youth workers.
✅ Development of an interactive web application – “Digital Virtual Tutoring” – as a self-assessment and digital mentoring tool for young people.
✅ Organization of an information and testing campaign of the project results for the dissemination and promotion of the developed resources.
First transnational meeting of partnersThe launch of the project was marked by the first transnational meeting of partners (KoM – Kick-off Meeting), held in Buzău, on January 21, 2025. Representatives of the five partner organizations discussed the project implementation strategy, activity planning and objectives of each stage. The meeting represented a first step in international collaboration for the development of innovative solutions for vulnerable young people.
Impact and sustainabilityThe “EDI-FORJUV” project will have a significant impact on the direct beneficiaries (vulnerable young people and youth workers), but also on the local communities and the organizations involved. In the long term, the project results will be integrated into the partners' activities, and the developed resources will be accessible on free educational platforms.
