The event will be under the coordination of the Centre for Promoting Lifelong learning, Romania, leader of EISALP Project.

At the conference we will present the partnership and developed tools, but the focus will be on 4 interactive round tables debating major challenges faced when delivering prison education:

  • what is the “portrait” of the educator equipped to deliver education in prison;
  • how the rules and regulations of the prison setting affect the quality of the education act
  • delivering in a communication “challenged” environment and for communication “challenged” beneficiaries;
  • building a team focused on education in a prison environment.

The conference will be followed by two day training for educators, introducing them to the prison learning concept, using 4 of the piloted modules developed within the EISALP project.
