OER and European Education Projects - Questionnaire Request

Dear EPALE-Community,

Open Educational Resources (OER) play an important role in education. The concept is not new, but has received a boost and new attention due to the pandemic. Open educational resources are intended to promote access to education and exchange of knowledge. The European Commission has also taken it upon itself to support this. Through the Erasmus+ programme, for example, not only projects on this topic are promoted, but there are also regulations that stipulate the dissemination and accessibility of project outcomes.

Because the topic is relevant for educational work and plays a central role in European educational projects, which form a core element in facing global challenges (such as globalisation, climate change and the digital transition) through international cooperation, I am dedicating my Master's thesis to it.

With the focus on the use of OER by employees in the field of European education projects, I would like to determine the current European status with regard to the use of OER and the necessary competences of the staff in European education projects and identify potential for action. The project staff is crucial for the use and creation of OER and thus contributes in particular to the dissemination of project outcomes etc. and the implementation of the goals of the European Commission. For this reason, it is worthwhile to take a closer look at this area.

In order to gain insights into this, I now need your support. I would like to ask you to fill in the questionnaire on "The use of OER by employees in the field of European education projects".

This link leads you to it: https://www.soscisurvey.de/OEReduprojects/

It takes around 10 min to complete the questionnaire.

It would be great if you forward it to your colleagues, as it is also very useful and important for our Erasmus+ projects.

Thank you in advance!

Julia Treek
