Nominate your candidates for a VET Excellence Award!

The Awards for Vocational Education and Training (VET) Excellence recognise and celebrate the committed people, organisations and outstanding projects taking place in the VET community across Europe. This is your chance to nominate candidates - but deadlines are fast approaching!

So, who do you know that deserves celebrating for their excellence in VET? You have until 5 July to let us know!

This year we have four main categories:

  • Companies and Learners
  • VET Innovators
  • European funding for excellence (closed competitions)
  • European Agencies Awards

Nominate your candidates

The awards have proven to be a huge success in previous years, succeeding in raising awareness and the attractiveness of VET to an audience beyond the usual VET stakeholders. In 2018, Commissioner Thyssen closed the event stating, “Our campaign has reached millions of Europeans to convince them that VET is a great first choice.”

As with past years, the European Vocational Skills Week will include an Awards Celebration event. This will be held in Helsinki on 17 October in the presence of Marianne Thyssen European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility.
