The NATECLA National Conference is a leading ESOL event and the 2019 conference will be held at Aston University in Birmingham. 

Date: 5 July 2019 – 6 July 2019

Time: Starts 13:00; Ends 17:15

Location: Conference Aston, Aston University, Aston Street, Birmingham B4 7ET 

Aston University is located close to Birmingham New Street train station and can be accessed easily on foot.

The event draws many ESOL / ELT / EFL professionals every year, providing them with the opportunity to listen to inspirational guest speakers and network with other like-minded individuals. There will also be a wide range of workshops to enjoy which will be updated on the event website soon, as well as many sponsors and exhibitors attending who will be presenting their products, services and resources. It will also be possible to take part in the Ascentis Teachmeet – delegates can provide short 3 minute presentations designed to share their most effective teaching tips with others, allowing everyone the opportunity to help and be helped.

Those who are travelling long distances can enjoy 4 star accommodation in the Conference Aston hotel. Ensuite bedrooms provide free wifi, TVs, ironing boards and tea and coffee facilities. Guests can also take advantage of the Victorian swimming pool and large gym. The Courtyard Restaurant allows delegates to enjoy quality food onsite, with the option of sitting outside in the July sunshine – weather permitting!
