Mobilising and Transforming Teacher Education Pedagogies (MTTEP) Mini Conference and Multiplier Event
Although this mini conference will provide practical workshops on how to construct iBooks, access to keynote speakers, opportunities for networking and sharing expertise, the central aim is to demonstrate and gain feedback on the Teacher Educator iBooks created as part of this EU Erasmus+ funded transnational partnership.
To ensure they have a relevant audience for this event, they have a limited number of subsidies available for those who would like to attend. Therefore the purpose of this form is to
a) register your interest and
b) make a case for why you should receive one of the limited number of subsidies.
There can be more than 65 delegates but only 65 will receive a subsidy. This is likely to be offered on a first come basis
The audience is teachers, trainers, lecturers, advisory staff, policy-makers, etc - anybody who works in preparing or training professionals in education and wishes to find out more about how to integrate the use of mobile technologies into this work. They have 65 places funded from the EU . 45 are for participants outside of Germany who will be eligible for subsidy of €200, and 20 in Germany who are eligible €100.
The MTTEP partnership retains the right to alter or cancel this conference and will provide notice as quickly as practicable of any cancellation or material alteration. Neither the MTTEP partnership nor the host organisation (Pädagogische Hochschule Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe, Germany) or employees therein will be required to reimburse travel or other costs incurred by participants because of cancellations or alterations of the conference.
In participating in this mini conference, you are also acknowledging that photographs may be taken, in which you are included and that you agree to the use of these photographs for further publicity purposes. If you do not wish to be included in any photographs, please put this in writing to Sarah Jones, Room 326, Wilberforce, Faculty of Education, University of Hull, Cottingham Road, Kingston-upon-Hull HU6 7RX, United Kingdom with an identification picture so that we can remove you from photographs.
The mini-conference will take place in a spirit of sharing and open dialogue and unless stated elsewhere, outputs from discussions, workshops and networking sessions will be available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)
Subsidies will be at the discretion of The MTTEP partnership and will only be paid upon completion of an expenses form (available at the conference) and relevant receipts attached AFTER the event, which will be tallied with the register of attendance. It is your responsibility to sign the register each day, upon arrival.
