Ministry of National Education (MoNE) launches 'distance education' for teachers

Minister of National Education Selçuk said that under the scope of Kovid-19 measures, the professional and individual development of teachers will be supported through distance learning. Moreover, Minister of National Education Selçuk explained that the training programs accredited by the National Commission of UNESCO Turkey are prepared by international institutions and organizations, universities, non-governmental organizations and academicians. HE also stated that their distance education applications with words: 

                 "Within the scope of coronavirus measures, we support the professional and individual development of our teachers in this process by decrying the education in our schools and passing on to distance education. Within this context, 125 thousand teachers are participating in the remote in-service training programs we have prepared. All of the remote in-service training activities were opened to our teachers in 2-3 weeks. We will open 17 professional development programs each training period. Within the scope of the 2023 education vision, we are working towards structuring our new professional development programs for our school administrators and teachers in accordance with the distance education system."
