In the candle carving course at Altınordu Public Education Center, there are activities that the trainees can prepare gifts. The candle carving course, held in the afternoons every weekday lasts 218 hours. The trainees who get training can create original works according to their needs.

They also make the candle moulds by themselves to create these works. All the process steps performed are transferred to the trainees by using the innovative learning method. The trainees, who learn all the stages of candle making, both produce their own gifts with the products they get at the end of the course and on the other hand, they contribute to the home economy by selling these products. In addition, all the trainees are women and so they undertake a mission that contributes to women’s employment in our country.
