LOST2 (https://lost.team/) is an Erasmus+ funded project aimed to address the increasing issue of Missing People and Children across Europe through the development of a new standard professional profile (Expert in the Research for Missing People and Minors) and the implementation of a high-level training programme that is expected to be formally recognised across Europe, and which contents will contribute for the up- and reskilling of professionals working in search and rescue.
Thus, LOST2 partnership includes organisations experienced in this phenomena (The Smile of the Child (GR), SOS Desaparecidos (ES), SIULP, the Union of Italian Workers Unitary Police (IT), and the Portuguese Association for Missing Children (PT)), which cooperated with other partner organisations connected to Education and Training (Regional Agency for Work and Learning in Basilicata (IT), p-consulting.gr (GR), OMNIS (IT), EfVET - European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (BE) and EUROMASC (NO)) to achieve the purposes of the project.
Now that LOST2 is reaching its conclusion, it is time to gather all of its partners, representatives from some of the most relevant and active organisations working in the field of Missing People and Children (including Missing Children Europe and Child Focus) and other professionals for the project's Final Conference, titled Bridging Gaps, Saving Lives: Strengthening Search and Rescue across Europe, to be held in May 21st (14:00 - 17:00 CET), in Brussels (BE).
