Disabled Week is a special week celebrated in the same dates between May 10th and May 16th in the United Nations member countries. During the Disabled Week; the issue of disability, the prevention of disability and the education of disabled people. Relevant programs are broadcast on radio and television.

Toprakkale Public Education Center believes that each person is a candidate to be disabled so an awareness must be created about this topic. Kİndergarden studens made a presentation to the adults ( mostly their families ) about the disabled person and what should we do about it. After small persentation, children declared what they feel like about the topic and standed for a good example to adults. 

Excluding disabled people and ignoring them will hurt them and the link between citizens. It is an undeniable situation and we should try hard to make their lives easier and create opportunities for them.

Only God knows what will bring tomorrow. Maybe one day, we will need support and help of others.
